with some goodies not heard on the radio

July 31 weekend
Listen with this family

Daddies can be pretty good, yes? Most fathers can fix broken things, help out with homework, lift heavy boxes, and give daddy-sized hugs. But the best father of all can't be seen. It's not that He's sneaky. Instead He's God, our Heavenly Father. And Christians are His children. This is what the next WE KIDS is about. And it's filled with Bible-based ear-goodies for kids and their families.

Romans 8:15 is this week's Bible verse to remember:

For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again,
but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which
       we cry out, "Abba, Father!"

If you're a follower of Jesus, then God is your Heavenly Father, our Heavenly Daddy! If He wills, I'll have more about this during the next WE KIDS. Meanwhile, here's some talk from me now about being a kid of the King.

E-couragement from Sarah (with a little help from Mommy and G'Mommy) a WE KIDS little listener to Victory FM--WRVL in Virginia/North Carolina: "I love listening to you on Saturday morning with my little brother Nathan. We especially like the Wonderful We Kids March and like hearing our names on the radio. We hope you are able to stay on the radio for a long time. God bless you and your family."

At home in Paradise, son Nate phone-told me he resuscitated a duck, to the delight of his wife Miriam. She enjoyed having ducks as pets in her childhood, so was devastated when a new little duckling of theirs drowned in their wading pool. Nate modified his EMT CPR technique slightly and went to work on the little guy. Within 15 minutes the patient came around, though acted a little strange. Two hours later he was back to quackin' and splashin' in the pool again. (Another former WE KIDS-kid in action.) This, because of the Maker and Giver of Life, Himself.

Younger WE KIDS-kids can have a ducky-good time with me during the next WE KIDS. More than that, we'll be honoring God together. Meet you soon!
